Kevin Gwozdz (member of Pardee Shorts) and I, recorded an album together under the name Desert of Hiatus, a name which Kevin has been using long before i started playing with him. Kevin and I are very happy with it. The album, which is called Compendium, was just released on tape by Bridgetown Records. You can sample some of it, purchase it, and look at the websites large catalog HERE. Kevin Greenspoon runs this label himself. As with anyone who steps out of their way to support and release underground musicians, support him, so he can continue it.

Emma Bagley is a very good artist.
Record Store Daywas only really cool because my girlfriend decided to buy that Mirroring LP (Anything with Liz Harris is pretty much the best) for me, and my copy of Charles Mingus’ Black Saint And The Sinner Lady happened to arrive today. I guess that Botch reissue me and Jon picked up is pretty cool though.
Yea, this is pretty much true… was a decent record day. Kyle Parisi got Burst and Bloom… Because he got up at like 7 in the morning to wait in line. I wish i had integrity.
This is our set from the other night! The show went really well, all the bands that played were amazing. I wish this show could happen every night.

What an awesome show…Tonight was incredible. It was really nice to have a bunch of friends hanging out and enjoying music together. Thank you to everyone who came out and watched all the bands. All my friends make great music. I am happy to be apart of all of it.
Thanks to Boom Bap! for allowing a 5 bands in (an attempted) 3 hour span of time. I think it worked out.
Be sure to pick up the “Short Pardee”, which is the new tape by Pardee Shorts. It is released on Friends For Life. They played the tape in its entirety tonight, and of course, it shreds.
….Thanks Tony West, for moving back to Portland…
